Last week, the Quebec Government announced a gradual return of sport, including outdoor tennis. Following that announcement, we were asked by the authorities of the City of Montreal to prepare a plan to implement the principles of social distancing and other public health recommendations to insure the safety of all. The plan was presented to the City for approval in order to have access to the club to prepare the courts by May 25th.
For registration, we will extend the preseason rates until May 31st. As of June 1st, the rates will increase to $320$, $200 and $150 for adults, students and U14 respectively. We are aware that the 2020 season will be shorter than usual but we also have to take into account the fact that implementing the public health recommendations will be very costly. We do not expect to balance our budget this year and we will have to take these losses on the coming seasons.
The opening date will be confirmed as soon as we know more.
